ABOUT THE PLAYGROUND
Located close to the Tokmok City Hall, the Children's Playground & Jesus House were established in 2004. All the activities and clubs were provided to the local children free of charge. It is very popular and well accepted by the parents and children in the local community. Currently, we have 40-50 children in our classes. In addition to providing children with playing spaces, we also teach them lessons about the Bible, and talk about Jesus in class. Outside the classroom, children watch cartoons of the life of Jesus. Every day, new children come to play with us and have the chance to hear About Jesus. Many of the children who came to our playground accepted Jesus and had a personal relationship with Him. Most of these children come from Muslim families.
SPIRITUAL IMPACT
The playground is an open, creative, sports area for citizens where children and their parents can take handcrafts, guitar, English, and table tennis classes. All activities on the playground are based on Biblical principles and we are allowed to talk about God freely. There are many children interested in our clubs. Unfortunately, not all of them visit us constantly, so we always try to use our chance to share our joy and God’s love with children. Even though many children are from Muslim families, they are open to hear Bible stories and get to know God.
During Summer there are not many children attending our classes, because they may go to the summer camps or visit their grandparents. No matter what, we are always there waiting for children who want to hear about God.
